Celebrating Excellence: SCTCE CSE Student Among IEEE Women in Engineering Scholarship Awardees 2024–2025

 Two bright students from the Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Artificial Intelligence (CL) branches of Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering (SCTCE)—Nandana Sankar J (S6, CSE) and Anjali S Nair (S4, AI)—have been awarded the prestigious IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Scholarship 2024–2025, funded by Quest Global. This scholarship, granted to 388 meritorious female students across Kerala, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, offers ₹50,000 in educational support, access to IEEE’s blended learning platform, mentoring from industry experts, and placement assistance. Their achievement reflects the departments' commitment to empowering women in technology and nurturing future-ready engineering talent.




Both Nandana and Anjali have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and a passion for innovation in their respective fields, making them deserving recipients of this recognition. Their selection not only brings pride to the CS and AI departments but also serves as an inspiration for fellow students to actively pursue opportunities that bridge classroom learning with real-world industry exposure. The departments commend their dedication and thank the Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) for its valuable support in guiding students toward such impactful initiatives.
