SCT College of Engineering witnessed an electrifying Sports Day on February 13, 2025, as students showcased their athletic prowess and team spirit in a series of thrilling competitions. The event was a grand success, bringing together participants from various departments, all competing with enthusiasm and determination for the coveted championship title.
The day began with an inspiring inaugural ceremony, featuring the march past and an address by the college principal, who emphasized the importance of sports in shaping a well-rounded individual. A wide range of events, including sprints, relays, long jump, high jump, shot put, and discus throw, tested the endurance and skills of the athletes.
After a day filled with exhilarating performances and nail-biting finishes, the CS&CL (Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) department emerged as the overall champions, displaying exceptional teamwork, strategy, and resilience. Their consistent performance across multiple events earned them the top honors, making them the undisputed winners of the Sports Day 2025.
The event concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony, where winners were felicitated with medals, trophies, and certificates. The principal and faculty members lauded the efforts of all participants and organizers for making the event a resounding success.
