A Symphony of Talent and Teamwork: CSE Department Triumphs as Overall Champions at SCTCE Arts Fest "Sargam Chithram Thaalam"

The corridors of SCT College of Engineering recently echoed with music, dance, colors, and celebration as the much-anticipated Arts Fest – “Sargam Chithram Thaalam 2025” unfolded in full grandeur. And standing tall at the end of it all was the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, crowned as the Overall Champions of the cultural extravaganza!




A Celebration of Culture and Creativity

The fest was flagged off with a spectacular inaugural procession, a feast for the eyes and soul. The vibrant parade featured traditional art forms of Kerala, such as Chenda Melam, Pulikali, Theyyam, Kalarippayatt, Mohiniyattam, Kathakali, Oppana, Thiruvathira and all colours reflecting the rich heritage of our land. The campus came alive with rhythm, color, and cultural pride as students from all departments joined the procession in full traditional attire, setting the perfect tone for the fest.

CSE Shines Across the Board

Throughout the fest, students from the Computer Science Department dazzled in a wide array of events — from group and solo dance, music (instrumental and vocal), drama, mimicry, and literary competitions, to fine arts and digital design. Whether it was classical elegance or contemporary expression, the CSE team delivered performances that captivated both judges and audiences alike.

Their energy on stage was matched only by their relentless preparation behind the scenes. Every performance reflected hours of hard work, creative collaboration, and a burning passion to represent their department with pride.

What truly set the CSE department apart was not just the talent, but the unity, enthusiasm, and team spirit that flowed through every member. Seniors mentored juniors, friends encouraged each other, and every success was celebrated as a collective victory. From planning and rehearsals to costume design and stage management, the students took charge with leadership and dedication, balancing their academic schedules while pouring their hearts into the fest.
